On Wednesday, he hopped onto the official Instagram account he shares with his wife, Kate Middleton, for a rare question and answer session. Prince William excitedly revealed his plans to watch the latest game of his favorite soccer team, Aston Villa, when he returned home from Singapore.

The Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony, which began with Earthshot Week on Monday, was a grand event that showcased innovative solutions to environmental challenges. During the Q&A session, Prince William was asked about his favorite soccer squad. As President of the Football Association, he proudly supports Aston Villa, a passion he has passed down to his 10-year-old son, Prince George. When asked about his team's chances in the European Cup this year, Prince William cheekily replied, "I should say, will Villa win a European cup this year, is probably more accurate."

He then went on to express his excitement about watching Villa's game against Alkmaar from the comfort of his own home.

Given Prince George's love for soccer, it's likely that he joined his father for the viewing party. Both father and son have been seen cheering on Aston Villa in the past, with their expressions perfectly synchronized. Prince George, who has been diligently studying for his exams at Lambrook School, surely looks forward to this treat.

Prince William explained that Kate Middleton couldn't join him in Singapore due to Prince George's exams. In a speech at the United for Wildlife summit, he mentioned that Kate was helping George through his first major exams. This change in plans was a break from tradition, as Kate typically accompanies Prince William to the Earthshot Prize ceremony.
