Country superstar Keith Urban looked incredibly stylish in a black pinstripe suit as he was honored with induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on Wednesday night. The 55-year-old four-time Grammy winner posed for photos on the red carpet with his trophy, a bronze statue of a hand writing with a feather quill pen. With only 235 songwriters having earned this award since 1970, Urban proudly held his well-deserved accolade. Fellow inductee Kix Brooks, who is best known as one half of the duo Brooks & Dunn, was also recognized at the ceremony. Earlier in the day, Urban shared a picture of himself wearing a black "Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame" t-shirt, referring to the inductees as "legendary." Urban, the Australian-American singer, is renowned for producing 21 number one hits on country radio and for his role as a judge on American Idol. He is only the second singer in country music history to have nine albums reach platinum and multi-platinum status. Urban's biggest hit, "But For The Grace Of God," was released in December 2000. Urban and his wife, Nicole Kidman, recently celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary. The couple married on June 25, 2006, after meeting at an event the previous year. Their wedding took place at the Cardinal Cerretti Chapel in the grounds of St Patrick's College in Manly, Sydney, and was attended by A-list guests such as Hugh Jackman, Deborra-Lee Furness, Naomi Watts, and Baz Luhrmann. Acting as bridesmaid and usher were Kidman's two adopted children from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise, Isabella and Connor. The couple later welcomed two daughters of their own, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, in 2008 and 2010. Keith Urban recently revealed that the secret to a successful marriage and family life is always prioritizing family first. He admitted that achieving the right balance between his career and family is an ongoing process, but they never stop trying to get it right. Urban also considers his marriage to Kidman as a garden that needs tending in order for their love to flourish.
