Margot Robbie's friends were hoping for some on-screen romance when they learned she would be starring alongside the heartthrob Ryan Gosling in the new Barbie movie. However, it turns out that their characters, Ken and Barbie, are not meant to share a passionate kiss. When asked if she was glad she didn't have to kiss Gosling in the film, Robbie laughingly exclaimed, "Uh no! That didn't feel like a win for me."

It seems that her friends were even more disappointed, considering Robbie's role as a producer in the film. She explains, "All of my girlfriends were like, 'Well, you did a whole movie with him and you don't kiss? What's wrong with you? I thought you were kind of in charge on this one!'" Robbie admits that she can't check off kissing Gosling from her list. On the other hand, Gosling is relieved that their characters didn't have to engage in a steamy romance. During a joint interview with Robbie, he jokingly says, "It was so funny trying to figure out what their idea of kissing might be. I'm so glad all of that got cut out."

While fans may be disappointed by the lack of kissing, they will get to witness Gosling's impressive dance moves. The latest promotional video for the film, featuring Gosling's mid-dance sequence, has already garnered millions of views. Gosling shares that his daughters, Esmeralda, 8, and Amada, 7, with his partner Eva Mendes, were his valuable dance coaches. "They were at home while I was doing it," he reveals. "and they ended up knowing it as well as I did." Clearly, his daughters were the best little helpers during his dance preparations.
