Kate Middleton and Prince William were at the forefront of celebrating King Charles' 75th birthday. The royal couple took to social media to extend their birthday wishes to the king with a heartfelt message and three charming photos. The first photo showcased Prince Charles and Prince William during a ski vacation in Switzerland back in 2004. Unfortunately, Prince Harry was missing from the photo as he did not accompany them on the trip. The second picture captured Charles during a tree planting ceremony in France, while the third photo depicted the entire royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping the Colour.

During the Trooping the Colour event, the royals exchanged waves as they watched the festive flypast. This year's Trooping the Colour was exceptional due to its slimmed-down contingent. While many royals were present, some notable members were absent, including Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, and others. The event also saw the Duke of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester standing to the side, making it one of the smallest groupings in recent royal history.

However, some royals, such as Prince Andrew, who has withdrawn from public duties, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with their children, did not attend the event.

Despite this, Prince Andrew's ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, took to Instagram to wish King Charles a happy birthday, sharing a throwback black and white photo of him.

In addition to the social media posts, the British royal family's official accounts celebrated King Charles' birthday with a video highlighting significant moments of his life. From his investiture ceremony to his wedding to Camilla and his coronation, the video showcased the various stages of his life.

To kick off his birthday, King Charles and Queen Camilla visited a distribution center in Didcot to launch the Coronation Food Project, which aims to address the issue of food waste and food scarcity in the United Kingdom.

This project is close to Charles' heart as he has been actively involved in conservation and combating food waste. He believes that too many families miss out on nutritious meals due to financial hardships.

Amidst gun salutes and bells ringing at Westminster Abbey, the festivities for King Charles are far from over. There are plans for a private gathering among members of the royal family to celebrate the king's milestone birthday. The day has been filled with love and well-wishes as the whole world joins in honoring King Charles on this special occasion.
