The Bad at Love artist earlier this month penned a piece for titled 'My Abortion Saved My Life': Halsey on the End of Roe v. Wade, in which they detailed how their life was saved due to receiving an abortion at the risk of sepsis.
'I miscarried three times before my 24th birthday,' the Without Me performer said. 'One of my miscarriages required "aftercare," a gentle way of saying that I would need an abortion, because my body could not terminate the pregnancy completely on its own and I would risk going into sepsis without medical intervention.

'During this procedure, I cried. I was afraid for myself and I was helpless. I was desperate to end the pregnancy that was threatening my life.'
Halsey, who welcomed son Ender Ridley Aydin last July with Alev Aydin, said that since becoming a mother, they feel even stronger about abortion rights.
'Many people have asked me if, since carrying a child to term after years of struggling to do so, I have reconsidered my stance on abortion,' Halsey said. 'The answer is firmly no. In fact, I have never felt more strongly about it.
'My abortion saved my life and gave way for my son to have his. Every person deserves the right to choose when, if, and how they have this dangerous and life-altering experience.'
The Nightmare singer's artistic offerings are part of a auction, which is running through July 19. The auction, which features work made following the 1960s, also includes work from artists including Aboudia, Larry Bell, George Condo, Os Gemeos, Larry Poons, Victor Vasarely and others.
