Fans of Outlander are eagerly awaiting the second part of Season 7, but unfortunately, some beloved characters will not be making an appearance. Among the notable absences are Marsali and Fergus, played by Lauren Lyle and Cesar Domboy respectively. The two actors were occupied with other projects during the filming of the second half of the season, leading to their characters being left out. This poses a question for Claire's return to America, as Marsali plays a crucial role in the books. Without her and Fergus, how will Claire accomplish this?

Another couple, Arch and Murdina Bug, who have been interesting side characters since Season 5, will also not be returning. Their roles became even more significant in the first half of Season 7 as they were involved in a plot surrounding stolen French gold. Unfortunately, their house burns down, and Murdina is killed by Young Ian. This sets the stage for Arch's revenge, making his character an intriguing addition when the show returns.

Lastly, Wendigo Donner, a time traveler Claire encounters in Season 5, will not appear in the second half of Season 7. He meets a tragic end during a fire, and his storyline concludes there.

Although fans may be disappointed by the absence of these characters, there is still much to look forward to in the upcoming season. Outlander Season 7 is currently in post-production and is set to premiere in 2024.
