Long ago, God created humanity and the witches to guide them, bestowing witches with a divine purpose to help humans. But humans, plagued by insecurities and jealousy, grew resentful of their magical protectors. They turned on the witches, driving them into hiding. In the remote land of Salsavia Adonans, a young apprentice named Adonis complains about their endless trek with his master, Chloe, a powerful ice witch. Despite the marvel of his self-built smartphone that uses multidimensional photon magic, Chloe rebukes him. It is a world where technology has grown spitefully independent of magic, leaving witches persecuted and on the run.  As Chloe tries to find safe haven for them, Adonis questions why they must keep fleeing. Her answer is clear but grim – survival has become a constant battle. Yet, she speaks of hope, promising Adonis that someday he will get a chance at a normal life, complete with education and even the chance to fall in love. But behind her cheerful façade, Adonis senses her pain. Watching humans trample her dignity fills him with rage. Deep inside, he harbors an unspoken desire to destroy humanity for what it's done to witches and his beloved mentor.
