He's a flawed character, yes, but his struggles and vulnerabilities have always resonated with me. I remember a time in my own life when I felt like an outsider, constantly battling against the expectations of my family. Jamie’s story arc, although fictional, reminds me of that difficult period, and it makes me hope that he finds some measure of peace, even if it's in the final moments of the show.

Frankly, the entire premise of Beth’s revenge feels tired and overdone. Haven’t we seen enough storylines where a powerful woman’s only motivation is revenge against a male family member? It reduces Beth to a caricature of female rage, ignoring the complexities of her character and the nuances of their relationship. It’s lazy writing, plain and simple, and it undermines the potential for a truly compelling exploration of family dynamics and power struggles. I sincerely hope the writers subvert these expectations and offer something more original.
