In an unexpected twist, Jim Parsons, the actor behind Sheldon Cooper in the popular sitcom The Big Bang Theory, decided to quit the show due to a contentious scene.  This controversial scene, during the show’s twelfth season, had Sheldon in a severe argument with his best friend Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki.  The confrontation reached its peak when Parsons was required to physically push Galecki, filling the set with palpable tension and becoming a departure trigger for Parsons. Despite being a key role in the show since its 2007 launch, and bagging multiple awards for his stellar performance, Parsons pondered leaving the show even before the infamous scene, insiders revealed.  This incident simply served as the catalyst for his decision.
