On September 1, 2025, Princess Leonor began the final chapter of her military education when she entered the General Air and Space Academy in San Javier, Murcia, as an officer cadet of the Spanish Air and Space Force. This step was part of the training program required for Spain's future queen, ensuring she receives experience across all branches of the armed forces. Welcomed by Academy Director Colonel Luis Felipe Gonzalez Asensio, Leonor officially marked her arrival by signing the Academy's Book of Honor, a symbolic gesture showing her commitment to military service.
